3 Purposes of Processing and Recipients

 

3.1 Performance of Contracts

SRD GmbH processes your personal data in order to carry out pre-contractual measures, which are carried out on your request. Also SRD GmbH processes your personal data for the fulfillment/processing of the contract with you. The legal basis for the processing and provision of your personal data is therefore the performance and execution of the contract. Without these we can not conclude and settle the contract.

Ordering Process

If you request strains or plasmids in the EUROSCARF online shop, the following data will be collected, processed and used in order to process your order: Surname, first name, title, billing and delivery address (name of your university and institute, company), possibly VAT number of your institute / company, e-mail address, telephone number, payment options, shipping options, availability of a permit to work with genetically modified microorganisms

By using the EUROSCARF online shop you consent to the storage of personal data by EUROSCARF. The lawfulness of the processing is to safeguard EUROSCARF's legitimate interest in obtaining control over the use of the ordered yeast strains/plasmids for research purposes.
To fulfill the contract, i. e. the billing process, processing of payment and shipping of yeast strains/plasmids or letters, we may also transmit your data to third parties (for example, shipping service FEDEX, DHL, Deutsche Post).

4 Duration of storage and deletion of your data

We adhere to the principles of data avoidance and data economy. We delete your personal data when the contractual relationship with you is over, all mutual claims are fulfilled and there are no legal, tax and/or commercial retention requirements or statutory justification for storage.
